Even as the second installment of Baahubali is fast heading towards completion with the makers locking its release for April 2017, the first installment continues to enthrall viewers the world over, with more accolades pouring in. Recently the film got a great round of applause at the Fantastic Fest in Texas, where it got a thumbs up from the audience but what got the makers excited was the response it received at the 15th Pyongyang International Film Festival in North Korea, where it was recently screened. According to Baahubali producer, Shobu Yarlagadda, who tweeted about the news, the film was screened thrice to a 5000 plus audience, who seemed to be overwhelmed by it. According to reports the film got a standing ovation from the audience present. The Pyongyang International Film Festival is a biennial cultural exhibition held in Pyongyang, North Korea. Despite the reputation of the country being reclusive, the festival is cosmopolitan in nature. This year the eight-day festival had 21 countries participating in it. Starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishna, Baahubali – The Beginning, directed by S.S. Rajamouli made history at the world box-office, after it was released last year.
