It is a known fact that Bollywood filmmakers go all out to promote their films prior to their release but Ajay Devgn is going one step ahead in the marketing campaign of his film, Shivaay. Recently Ajay and Kajol went on a strategically planned US tour to New York, Dallas, Chicago and San Francisco for the promotion of his film. The two met up with the American press and interacted with affluent Indian families at gala events set up by the organizers. However it was their visit to the Google and Facebook headquarters that got them a huge response with the employees actually queuing in to attend their talk show. So much so that Google had to pick and choose a good number of them so that they could get an opportunity to interact with the power couple. The three-day visit was clearly a success with media interactions and thousands of fans, being introduced to the most ambitious project. We are told that Ajay visited the country after ten long years though Kajol does visit the US on and off for her professional commitments. The ‘Meet The Devgns’ tour was specially organised by Asian Media USA.
According to sources, Ajay is lining up a massive international release of Shivaay in USA, U.K and other key overseas territories, where he plans to eventually tour to promote his film. Produced and directed by Ajay Devgn under his banner Ajay Devgn Films, Shivaay stars Devgn in the lead, besides Sayyeshaa Saigal and Polish actress, Erika Kaar. The action thriller is being lined up for a Diwali release on October 28 this year.
